but now, i am tired, and despite my incredibly sound power nap this afternoon, and the time is coming for me to wind down. so, to summarize, my weekend was: walking across the brooklyn bridge in the rain; spending quality time with a family that is not mine, but might as well be; trawling central park in questionable weather and loving it greatly; much drunkenness; much food; "that place...the sphere...in a box...go in...look up...stars happen..." "the planetarium?" "yes!"; grimaldi's pizza; chaos brunch (but well worth it); burning my hand (but being well cared-for and rescued by boy, who i swear must have asbestos hands); a baby with the chubbiest cheeks in the world; a glorious nap rudely interrupted by horrible thoughts of work and the start of the countdown to the eddie izzard show on tuesday.
oh, and: i'm going to take the plunge and get that costume. perhaps, if y'all are lucky, photographs may one day even make their way into this here space.
