Gong Xi Fa Cai!
today is the eve of chinese new year. in celebration, i am wearing a red skirt and red underwear. ostensibly, this means i am starting the year under an auspicious sign. which is just fine by me.
though, frankly, i think i commemmorate by default, merely as a function of the big blazing mop atop my head. we may be making an office excursion to chinatown for lunch to celebrate.
perhaps.
perhaps not, because we may have to stick around until someone comes by to clean out her desk.
that's right.

newgirl has, for lack of a better term, been canned. watch this space to see if my blood pressure starts returning to normal as a result.
