why is this bothering me so much?
okay. against my better judgment, i extended the olive branch by way of an apology for a minor transgression. we'll see what happens next. if i get no response for acknowledging my own poor behavior (though, i repeat, a minor transgression relative to the offended party's repeated offenses. still inappropriate, but minor), then my course is clear.
i lie low until this little squall blows itself out, because there's simply going to be no reasoning with it.
note: the grand irony is that what i did to him is EXACTLY what he did to someone else at new year's. only with less offensive subject matter. amusing.
it remains peculiar and mysterious, however. i'm glad i'm not the only one who's noticing that there are troubled waters in our midst.
