three things

thing one increasingly, i find myself saying, doing and thinking things i really probably shouldn't. and wanting things i really shouldn't. it's strange having a little secret i have that i would actively quantify as shameful.

thing two i do enjoy happy hour at my favorite e.vill. bar. even more so when i manage to get two free rounds, twenty dollars worth of change on a five dollar bill (i didn't take it), a proper new york experience and also pick up the bartender. yep.

thing two point five with regards to the proper noo yawk experience that this one and i had last night...so, we were sitting at the bar, minding our own business, when suddenly the woman sitting by us began to speak to us. she was a teacher, she liked to cook, she invited us to brunch. it was fucking great. only in new york, really.

thing three i was referred to as a sage last night. i also found out that "sage" is ostensibly an exclusively masculine term. hm. not that i'm terribly fussed--i've been called worse things than wise in my time, gender-specifically or otherwise.
