so the lowdown?

four inches. i lost about four inches. more or less. that brings the hair to just below the shoulder, super choppy/layered/rockandroll. terribly red. i'd forgotten how red it was until i had 45 minutes of being lit from above in front of a mirror...yeah. molly ringwald ain't got nothing on me.

it's quite thrilling for me--i haven't had a haircut i genuinely liked in...um...ever. it's always been a question of making do. this time, however, i am pleased. terribly pleased indeed. i now understand why it is that the ladies i know find it so important to cultivate a relationship with a specific hairdresser. needless to say, i'll probably be going back to this guy. $80, while really more than i can justify for a haircut, is a small price to pay for giving me even a day's reprieve from the frumps.

anyway. in other news, tonight...tonight it's showtime! anyone in the area care to swing by, it's at the orange bear at 9. i have a brand spankin'-new song to unveil. you should really be there.
