a hairy situation

i am getting my hair cut today.

right after work, as a matter of fact.

i've not had my hair cut since september. and i've not had more than an inch lopped off at a time in nearly a year.

as such, i'm in two minds as to what i'm going to get done. i don't know if i'm going to keep the length and just get some bangs and such cut in...or if i'm going to take off a few inches. i just haven't decided yet. all i do know is that this mop atop my head, so glibly masquerading as my hair, has got to be dealt with. DEALT WITH, i say. it's simply horrible.

and perhaps a new haircut will pull me out of the frump zone i've been rocking for several months...eh. if nothing else, it will be something nice and different in time for my show tomorrow. and hopefully, a little less country and a little more rock and roll.

i mean, really, i've been sporting the boho bitch/pre-raphaelite wavy longness for some time now, despite the fact that i fall into neither of those categories, either in dress or disposition. the sad fact of the matter is that i am a clompy boot-sporting, black leather wearing huge earring spiky belt rocking black eyeliner kind of girl. in the words of bubbles (of powerpuff girl fame): i am hardcore!

(kind of. not really. i'm actually quite the cream puff. but i try to cultivate my hard-coreness)...and, as such, i need a more hard core haircut, i think. bangy, swingy, choppy, rock and roll bad ass haircut.

that's what i need.

well, that and a vespa. but all things in their time, correct?

i will keep you apprised as to the impending horror at my earliest convenience.
