things i forgot to tell you last night, part 1.

part of the news i received while catching up with herr producer last night is that the studio's computer system was infected with a particularly nasty virus two days after the owner went on tour with a band. which means that the master files for pretty much everything i've recorded in the last two years has been eaten.

this includes the master files for the dilemma remix.

an open letter to everyone who's ever written a computer virus:
fuck you.

from what i understand, the virus nailed some of the backup files, too. from what i know, my files are not counted among the survivors.

though, rumor has it that we at least have some of the component files for the remix, which, quite frankly, is the only one i actively do not want to go back in and re-record.

UGH! I lost everything on my computer to a virus my freshman year of college. EVERYTHING. I was depressed and mopey for weeks. I second that fuck you.
