what does it say that...
with regards to being engaged, i find it stranger that i have committed to wearing the same ring for the rest of my life than that i have committed to the same person.
thank goodness the ring is absolutely beautiful.
Posted by shivery at novembre 8, 2004 09:36 AMomg i know exactly what you mean. i'm still sort of like, "wait, but my semi-precious bands go on that finger. can i ever wear silver again? what the...".
but, yeah, true love, rah. natch.
Posted by: k at novembre 8, 2004 09:55 AMoh. my. gosh. you are SUCH. GIRLS! ;-) (not to worry, it's a Good Thing.)
Posted by: DJRD at novembre 8, 2004 10:15 AMas is a certain fiance. i don't think you'll be displeased with either. :)
(btw, i know you weren't suggesting otherwise.)
Posted by: kate at novembre 8, 2004 10:41 AMdude, the fiance rocks my socks. that goes utterly without saying.
which is why committing myself to HIM forever seems far less weird than committing to the ring.
Posted by: shivery at novembre 8, 2004 10:54 AMmerci, le kate.
Posted by: Blind Lemon Sam at novembre 8, 2004 11:04 AMeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ring!
dude, it's like a switch has been flipped in my head. I guess I'm ready to see my friends get married now. I could not be happier for all of you matrimonial types.

I just cried a little tear. For real.
Surpising reaction when I usually just throw up a little in my throat.
Aw, you're adorable!
And I could totally see myself in the theoretical same dilema. You know, when I find the real life version of the hypothetical guy who'd buy the ring...
