back, though grumbly.

yes, i know. i've been slack. i've also been the busiest of all busy things and it's utterly ludicrous. updates will probably happen soon, now that i appear to be getting my shit together in some sort of capacity. but before that happens, i just need to make two statements:

1. when you're a sound guy and the first band is on at 8pm, it's not acceptable to show up at 9:30. it fucks up the rotation, so to speak.

2. if i'm doing a job for you for an amount that is LUDICROUSLY below my market level (i.e., less than minimum wage when you pace out the hours) because i think what you're trying to do is kind of neat? you should make a point to NOT MAKE MY LIFE DIFFICULT.

sorry to return to this space on such a cantankerous note, but i just don't have time for this kind of thing right now.

what i DO have time for, however, are today's 77-degree forecast and the season finale of alias, which i'm hoping to watch this weekend.
